Wayne County Household Hazardous Waste
Collection Day

Wayne County offers several household hazardous waste collection days each year that are available at no cost to all Wayne County residents. Please refer to the information below for the next scheduled event.

 

 

 

Saturday, April 13 8am to 2pm Redford Public Services 12200 Beach Daly, Redford Saturday, June 22 8 am to 2 pm Henry Ford Community College 5101 Evergreen Road, Dearborn Saturday, August 24 8 am to 2 pm Westland Mall Warren Road, Westland Saturday, October 13 8 am to 2 pm Southland Shopping Center 23000 Eureka, Taylor

Examples of Acceptable Items:
Household paints, stains, dyes, floor wax, nail polish, glues, fertilizers, pesticides, antifreeze, motor oil, gasoline, car & boat batteries, fluorescent bulbs, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, mercury, computer equipment, cell phones, fax machines, copiers and televisions AND Pharmaceutical Waste (NON-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES ONLY).
