Miller Family Park
This
photograph illustrates the history and values of the Township
Community. The actual photograph is of Supervisor Steve Mann
and Claire Haske, who donated the property in memory of Pete,
Adele and Keith Miller. Also pictured is Gail Nutter,
Claire's daughter.
Miller Park, which is now a walk-in neighborhood park,
fulfills a lifelong dream of the Miller family and that is to
see the children of the neighborhood playing on the property.
This neighborhood park is a physical symbol of citizens of the
community and past residents working together. The Miller
family donated the property and the Township, along with the
children in the neighborhood, developed a design for the park.
The Township then followed up with implementation of the
design with dollars from their general budget and grant monies
secured from the State of Michigan.
Miller Park is located at 40198 Ann Arbor Trail, between
Haggerty Road and I-275.
