New Homeowners

It is very important for new homeowners to complete two tasks after purchasing their new home in Plymouth Township.

1. File a Principal Residence Affidavit form with the Treasurer's Office.
2. File a Property Transfer Affidavit with the Assessor's Office.

By completing these tasks you will receive a lower tax rate on your residence.

New Homeowners who filed a Principal Residence Affidavit after May 1,  may not reflect a principal residence exemption of 100% until the July 1  Tax Statement of the following year.
