Trustee Mann began his career with Plymouth Township in
October of 1989 as a Township Police Officer. During his
eleven year tenure, Steve served four years as a Detective.
Steve also held the positions of Coordinator of Field
Training, Senior Evidence Technician, Motor Patrol Officer,
Bicycle Patrol Officer and Narcotics Interdiction Team member.
When Steve left the department to serve as Township
Supervisor, he was the second highest decorated officer,
having received numerous awards and certificates.

Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, Law
Review.
Cleary College, Bachelors degree in Business Administration,
Summa Cum Laude.
Personal Background
Trustee Mann is married and has an eleven-year-old son who is
enrolled in the Plymouth Canton Community Schools. Trustee
Mann is an active member of the Colonial Kiwanis Club of
Plymouth and the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce, and a supporter
of Habitat for Humanity of Western Wayne County, the Plymouth
Symphony, Plymouth Community Arts Council, and Plymouth
Historical Society.
