Planning Commission
The Planning Commission is a nine-member board appointed by
the Township Board for three year staggered terms. One Board
of Trustee member is appointed and acts as a liaison to the
Planning Commission. The remaining eight are registered voters
of Plymouth Township. The Planning Commission usually meets
the third Wednesday of each month. Compensation $110.00 per
meeting.

Plymouth
Community Youth Advisory Commission
The Plymouth Community Youth Advisory Commission (PCYAC) was
formed in the summer of 2002 and members were appointed
jointly by the Plymouth Township Board of Trustees and the
Plymouth City Commission. Their mission is to act in an
advisory capacity to City and Township leaders on issues
pertaining to youth. The eleven members, who are youth in
grades 7 to 11 and residents of either the City or Township of
Plymouth, meet monthly on the fourth Monday, 5:00 - 7:00 PM at
Plymouth City Hall, 201 S. Main St. in the Commission Chambers
on the second floor. Anyone is welcome to attend. Township
residents seeking more information about the PCYAC should
contact the Plymouth Township Supervisor's Office at (734) 354-3201.

Zoning Board of Appeals
The Zoning Board of Appeals is a five-member board
appointed by the Township Board for three year staggered
terms. One member is a member of the Planning Commission,
another a member of the Township Board. The remaining three
are registered voters of Plymouth Township. The Zoning Board
of Appeals usually meets the first Thursday of each month.
Compensation $80.00 per meeting.

Compensation Commission
The Compensation Commission is a five-member Commission
appointed by the Township Board. Their terms are staggered
from one to five years.
The Compensation Commission recommends salaries for the
Township elected officials.
Their determination shall be the salary unless the Township
Board by Resolution adopted by two-thirds of the Board of
Trustee members rejects the determination. There is no
compensation for those serving on the Compensation Commission.

Downtown
Development Authority
All appointments are effective February
12, 2002. The elected Supervisor always serves as
Chairperson of this Committee. Terms are staggered. DDA Board
meetings take place on the 2nd Monday of each month
at 4:00 pm in the Supervisors Meeting Room located at 9955 N.
Haggerty Road. These meetings are open to the
public.
