With regard to the minutes of the meeting of March 11, Mrs. Karell asked that a correction be made prior to the motion regarding approval of the TIF and Development Plan. A paragraph should be inserted as follows:

Mr. McFadyen noted that on Page 5, Item 2 (B), the verbiage regarding Marguerite Street residential is deleted and the parcel numbers have been corrected for the southwest corner of Sheldon and Ann Arbor Roads.

Mr. McFadyen assured the members that the corrections were made prior to submission of the TIF and Development Plan to the Board of Trustees for approval.

Mr. Mann noted the minutes would be corrected and returned at the next meeting for approval.

Discussion of the Traffic Signal Cross Arm Alternate Designs was delayed because of pending changes in MDOT regulations.

The Transportation Enhancement Activity (T.E.A.) 21 Grant, which covers an area from Eckles Road to a point just west of Haggerty Road, has been approved for the Township. Required local matching funds would be $468,643, of which 20% would be contributed by the Taylor Service Center (regional office of MDOT), and $480,500 in non-participating costs.

Mr. Croad, Senior Principal Planner/Director of Design, from McKenna Associates gave an overview and tentative design plan for the area. The Taylor Service Center (MDOT) would let bids in the spring of 2003, with work beginning that fall.

Width of the stamped concrete verge area for the new Sunshine Honda site was discussed, and the consensus was that it be 2 ft. A 3-ft. verge in this area would be too wide given the narrow distance from the curb to the sidewalk.

Mrs. Karell asked that a detailed outline of expenditures be available at the next meeting.

Mr. Mann adjourned the meeting at 4:40 p.m.
