Chairman Mann called the meeting to order at 4:03 p.m.

IV.   Minutes of the September 15, 2003, Meeting

Moved by Ms. Hovey, supported by Mr. Cook, to approve the minutes of the meeting of September 15, 2003, as submitted.

II. New Business

A. Update on the Ann Arbor Road Streetscape Project, Haggerty to
     Eckles (TEA-21 Grant) – Timeline

Sally Hodges updated members on various aspects of the project. She noted Smith Group, JJR, has been selected by MDOT. They will be preparing the plans and construction documents. The project is scheduled for bidding in May, with construction starting in June.


B. Comments on Plastipak Streetscape – plans enclosed.
     • Memo from McKenna Associates.

Members reviewed the Plastipak streetscape plans and found them to be acceptable in accordance with the memo from McKenna Associates.


C. Comments on Bally’s Streetscape
     • Plans to be provided at meeting.

The Bally’s streetscape plans were presented by Mrs. Hodges, reviewed by DDA members and found to be acceptable in accordance with the McKenna Associates memo.
