Upcoming Election Dates
If you are not already registered to vote in Plymouth Township but would like to, you must register at least 30 days prior to the election to be eligible to vote in that election. Please refer to the following election dates and registration deadlines.
STATE PRIMARY ELECTION: AUGUST 7, 2018
The last day to register to vote in the Primary Election is July 9, 2018.
STATE GENERAL ELECTION: NOVEMBER 6, 2018
The last date to register to vote in the General Election is October 9, 2018
Open Local Positions
August 7, 2018 Primary Ballot
Precinct Delegate Positions for Republican, Democrat and Libertarian Party Candidates.
November 6, 2018 General Election Ballot
Plymouth District Library has four (4) open positions. All terms begin on January 1, 2019 and end December 31, 2022.
Plymouth Canton Community Schools has two (2) open positions; one is to fill an unexpired term that runs from January 1, 2019 until December 31, 2020. The other position is a full six year term that runs from January 1, 2019 until December 31, 2024.
Schoolcraft Community College has two (2) open positions; both are full terms starting January 1, 2019 until December 31, 2014.
Other Offices to Be Elected in 2018
Governor & Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, U.S. Senator, U.S. Representative in Congress, State Senator, State Representative, State Board of Education, University Regents, Justice of the Supreme Court and numerous Judges.
It is also expected that there will be several ballot questions to be decided on in the November election.
