Polls will be open on November 6 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. You can also visit the Township Clerk’s Office at Township Hall to fill out an absentee ballot application if you expect to be absent from the community on Election Day. The Clerk reminds you that any registered voter over the age of 60 can request an absentee ballot. This is a great way to avoid long lines on Election Day and to take the time to review your ballot in detail.
In addition to important Federal, State, and County races, we will be electing four members to the Plymouth District Library, four members to the Plymouth-Canton School Board, and two members to the Schoolcraft College Board.
There will also be a request for a Plymouth Township Public Safety Millage of 1.2 mills, a 0.75 mill request for the Plymouth Area Recreation Authority (PARA) and a 0.49 Headlee Override request from Schoolcraft College.
State Law requires you to be registered 30 days prior to voting for the first time. The last day to register to vote in that Election is October 9.
If you have any questions about voter registration, absentee voting, or anything else related to elections, please call Clerk Jerry Vorva at 734-354-3228 or email@example.com.
