The Board of Trustees has approved a new ordinance creating the first-ever ‘Environmental Leadership Commission.’ The Commission will have 9 members and applications can be filled out by clicking the first link below. A full copy of the ordinance can also be viewed by clicking the second link.

The Environmental Leadership Commission is a way for citizens to help improve the quality of life of our community, especially in the areas of water quality, stormwater management, air quality, recycling and sustainability, and many other environmental issues. The Environmental Leadership Commission will be a full-fledged Township Commission, based at Township Hall and assisted by Township staff. It will partner with staff and other allied groups in a variety of environmental awareness initiatives and programs. The Supervisor plans to nominate candidates to the Township Board for consideration to the Commission in the fall. Please call Supervisor Heise at 734-354-3201 or supervisor@plymouthtwp.org for more details.
