Ayes all.

V. Old Business – N/A

VI. New Business

A.  Update on Status of Ann Arbor Road Streetscape Project

     1.  Status of Plans and Costs Estimates
     2.  Expected Timetable for Bids and Construction

Terry Croad of McKenna Associates noted the project is on schedule with plans to request bids in August, bids to be received in September.

Details are being worked out with Kmart as to the placement of their sign. When bids come in, final decisions can be made.

There can be 8-10 weeks of construction this year, depending on the weather and lead time for ordering materials. They’ve been asked to begin at the Haggerty-Ann Arbor Road intersection, proceeding to I-275. It’s likely the brick piers, fencing and the verge can be completed this year.

Mr. Kolb cautioned against any construction mess being left in front of businesses because of inability to complete work before winter weather.

B. Don Massey Cadillac

Michael Bailey of Dietrich Bailey Associates indicated all easements have been obtained.

He commented that a landscape plan is being provided by Don Massey Cadillac, and Mr. Anulewicz said copies will be distributed when received.

Mr. Mann adjourned the meeting at 4:20 p.m.

The next meeting will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 9.
