Downtown Development Authority Board Minutes
February 13, 2006
Chairman Reaume called the meeting to order at 4:12 p.m.

3. Approval of minutes for January 9, 2006 meeting.
Moved by Mr. Grutza, supported by Mr. Booth, to approve the minutes of the
regular meeting of January 9, 2006, as presented.
Ayes all with Mr. Nahra absent.
4. Old Business
A. Landscape Maintenance Services for
Streetscape Project
Patrick Fellrath,
Plymouth Township Civil Engineer
Mr. Fellrath indicated that the agreement has been signed by Denny’s Landscaping
and when proof of insurance and necessary bonds arrive from them, probably by
the end of the week, the agreement signed by the DDA Chairman and Secretary will
be forwarded to them. The maintenance season begins April 1, with a meeting in
March to discuss plans.
5. New Business
A. Update and Status of Ann Arbor Streetscape
Project
James Anulewicz, Dir. of

Regarding the electrical problem with the Kmart sign, Mr. Anulewicz indicated
it’s the Township’s position that they’ve done all that they can to assist
Kmart.
B. Status of Haggerty Road Street Sign
Mr. Anulewicz said the Haggerty Road Street sign is repaired and reinstalled,
and it will be verified that it’s in working order.
C. Status of Inventory
Mr. Fellrath presented copies of the list of contractors, materials and prices
involved in the streetscape project. Mr. Anulewicz said this will be reviewed
and then it will be decided what to keep on hand for timely repairs and
replacements.
D. Approval of Invoices
Moved by Mr. Cook, supported by Mrs. Ludtke, to approve payment of the invoices
presented, in the amount of $2,057.25. Ayes all with Mr. Nahra absent.
E. Township Hall / Haggerty Road Improvements
Mr. Reaume discussed with members the possibility of DDA funds being used for
the Township’s share of combined projects such as the drive on Haggerty Road
which is in conjunction with the proposed shopping center which fronts Ann Arbor
Road. Further information regarding costs and legality will be forthcoming.
Mr. Nahra arrived at 4:55 p.m.
6. Public Comment
Mr. Reaume updated members on the bids received for the purchase of the Township property at Ann Arbor and Lilley Roads, the proposed shopping complex at Haggerty and Ann Arbor Roads, and other proposed businesses and improvements.
7. Adjournment
Moved by Mrs. Ludtke, supported by Mr. Grutza, to adjourn the
meeting.
