Township Park, located at 46640 Ann Arbor Trail just east of Beck road, consists of 80 acres. The park offers four sheltered gathering places, walking paths, children’s PlayScape area, ADA Playscape area, fishing pond and dock, local youth baseball plays on four baseball diamonds, and sledding during the winter months. The park is adjacent to an 18-hole golf course, owned by the Township. The Township has also built a dock to enable handicapped access to the pond.

Hours of Operation - Plymouth Township Park

Park hours are dawn through dusk, but in no case before 7 a.m. or after 9:30 p.m.  Park hours are subject to change without prior notification.  Exceptions will include all league scheduled activities or those events approved in writing by the Township Supervisor.

 * Park hours may be extended for Little League games.
** Dogs are not allowed at Township Park.

Did you get a new sled this year? Do you enjoy being outdoors during the winter months? Then grab your sled and head on over to Plymouth Township Park for some Winter fun!  During the Winter season the Park offers sledding depending on the weather.

Although the Township Park is the largest park, we also have the Lake Pointe Soccer Park located on Haggerty Road between Five Mile and Schoolcraft Roads. This premier soccer park houses two irrigated soccer fields, a shelter available for reservation and a playground area. For those of you in the Lake Pointe and Robinson Subdivision areas we have smaller, neighborhood walk-in parks; Brentwood Park, located on Brentwood Drive in the Lake Pointe Subdivision and Miller Family park, located on Ann Arbor Trail in the Robinson Subdivision. They have large play areas including swings and lawn areas.

2024 SHELTER RESERVATION SEASON INFORMATION

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP RESIDENT GROUPS
Reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Division of Public Services, 9955 N. Haggerty Road from 8:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., M-F.  Please call 734-414-1459 to check availability.

The first day for resident groups to reserve for the 2024 summer season (May - September) will be Tuesday, January 9, 2024. 

RESIDENT GROUP shall be defined as:  A Plymouth Township corporation, firm, partnership, association or other legal entity with its registered office located in Plymouth Township; a family outing sponsored by a Plymouth Township resident; a church, scout group, or youth sports group located in Plymouth Township; a Plymouth-Canton private or public school group, scout group, or youth sport group; a formally organized Plymouth Township homeowner’s group, or a non-profit Community group or church, (e.g.) Rotary, Kiwanis, etc., whose membership substantially resides in the Plymouth Community (Plymouth Township and City).  Resident service groups may be eligible for a reduced fee.

NON-RESIDENT GROUPS
The first day for non-resident groups to reserve for the 2024 summer season will be Monday, April 1, 2024 beginning at 8:00 am.

NON-RESIDENT GROUP shall be defined as:  Any group, company or individual not defined as a resident group, even though an employee of a business or group resides in the Township

The Pavilion:  
The Pavilion is located nearest to the fishing pond and has been a favorite since it was constructed in the mid 1990's.  Boasting a brick fireplace and optional food preparation area with a commercial size refrigerator, sink and work space, The Pavilion is the perfect choice for family reunions and graduation parties;  Amenities:  Capacity for up to 100 people; 2 four (4) foot charcoal grills; fireplace; attached restrooms; optional food preparation area

4 Season Pavilion:
  The fully enclosed 4 Seasons Pavilion is located next to the ball diamonds and sledding hill on the north end of the park.  The 4 Seasons Pavilion is perfect for community meetings, family or corporate gatherings, showers and graduation parties.  Amenities:  Air conditioned 1500 sq. foot indoor gathering space with seating for approximately 72 people; snack bar area with counter, sink and refrigerator; 1600 sq. foot outdoor gathering space with seating for approximately 75 people; attached restrooms

Shelter 1:  Shelter 1 is the classic covered gathering space.  It is open on all four (4) sides and located between the wooden playscape area and the sprayscape water attraction.  Shelter 1 is a favorite for children's birthday parties and is a convenient choice for school groups and families.  Amenities:  Capacity for up to 80 people; 2 four (4) foot charcoal grills; electricity

Shelter 2:
  Shelter 2 is located adjacent to the sprayscape water feature and the ADA playscape designed for children 5 to 12 years old.  Shelter 2 is home to Alexander's Express, a train play structure designed for younger children.  Shelter 2 is a great option for family gatherings with young children.  Amenities:  Capacity for up to 50 people; 1 four (4) foot charcoal grill; attached restrooms; optional food reparation area with refrigerator

LAKE POINTE SOCCER PARK

Lake Pointe Shelter:  The Lake Pointe soccer park is located on Haggerty Road south of Five Mile Road.  The park is home to the Plymouth Soccer League during the Spring and Fall and offers a paved walking path and small children's play area.  The soccer park shelter is a perfect summer location for graduation parties and other events where you are looking for a more intimate outdoor setting.  Amenities:  Capacity for up to 80 people; 1 four (4) foot charcoal grill; attached restrooms; electricity

INSURANCE REQUIRED FOR ALL GROUPS THAT FUNCTION UNDER A TAX I.D.

Any group (resident or non-resident) that functions under a tax I.D. number requires general liability insurance for their use of a pavilion or shelter for the day/season. The insurance policy requirements are subject to change and are available on the Township’s website and at the Division of Public Services.

The proper certificate of insurance and signed waiver form must be provided at the time of reservation. A reservation will not be processed without these documents.

Do you know why you shouldn’t feed ducks and geese, how wetlands help the environment or how native plants help to support stream banks? As you walk along the pathways please take note of the interpretive signs that line them. These signs tell of the natural surroundings of the park including information on the creek, pond and wildlife that live and visit our Township Park.
